Working out a few more details for the elusive baby blanket.  You'll have to wait and see the final choices...

Yarn: Alpaca with a Twist's Baby Twist in various colors and Claudia Hand Painted Yarns in color way John B.
Needles: US 4
Gauge: About 5.5 stitches = 1 inch
Stitch: 2 Color Star Stitch

I'm loving this...I think the colors & textures are much more interesting than the very first swatches.

very cool how you get that plaid kindof look. I'm sure the stitch will be very durable too.

Nona! If you made those pale thistle coloured stitches in red on a white background you'd have a Canadian maple leafe-esque design on your hands!
