Inspiration: | Today I was in the mood to play with the square in square motif and ended up with not 1, but 3 swatches. I do love log cabin knitting! I'm thinking about combining these swatches into a vertical strip. |
Yarn: | Rowan's Cotton Glace, Rowan's Wool Cotton, and a few other random things from my stash. |
Needles: | US 4 |
Stitch: | Garter Stitch |
Techniques: | Short Rows, Log Cabin Knitting |

(I guess b/c I peruse the blogs early am I never delved deeper into your blog but...) I just noticed this category of Nona's swatches - it's wonderful! I can visualize what you get out of the swatches, just playing around, getting your ideas down, etc. I really like your! take on the log cabin and short row ones - great!

Lol, Nona ~ I know you said that you're aiming for a swatch a day, whatever the size, but I didn't expect to see three today, lol. Go girl!
You've inspired a challenge for myself ~ I must to get my head around this log cabin technique.

Nona's swatches are a delight! Gwyndolyn can't deal with Log Cabin, though. The wonky angles make her nauseous. She apologizes profusely and thanks nona for her excellent work.
