Curiouser and Curiouser

I've just completed the 2nd installment of the Uncommon Threads Mystery KAL and it just keeps getting curiouser and curiouser. This installment features short rows, button holes, and asymmetrical increasing.

There is something disorienting -- yet strangely exhilarating -- about knitting something for which you have no clue what it looks like. I'm beginning to piece together a partial visual image and believe this "accessory" will be donned on knit tagging evenings.  Third installment due out next Monday, party the following Friday -- I'm jazzed!

I'm not sure what it is...but your knitting is beautiful, and I'd love to know the yarn you're using. I'd like to make something with that yarn. Can't wait for the final product!

I wonder if it's going to be some kind of hood/scarf/cowl thing? Whatever it is, it's beautiful in that yarn.

I'm so happy to see you back in the blog/webpage universe! I have had your website bookmarked FOREVER (I checked, it was back in the days of knitting Olympics 2006 or so), and even though you haven't updated in a while, I check every time I go through my knitting bookmarks. My favorite gloves are still the ones I knit while working through your I-cord finger tutorial. Can't wait to see what your mystery project is.

Hmmmm....would those short rows be, by chance, in the round? (grin)

I love both the fabric. You have also inspired me to get cracking on the New Look knit dress that I have sitting on my sewing table.

Lively and Meester are red carpet rock stars, and while they deserve kudos, I could think of a few less obvious Louboutin-loving stars who should have a stiletto to call their own. My Fantasy louboutin heels League, if you will.
