Socks that Rock

Like most of the knitting community I was appalled to read about the absurd ordeal the Blue Moon Fiber Arts company has had to deal with.  If it wasn't so serious, it would be funny.  To show my support for Blue Moon, I popped over to a LYS and bought a couple balls of their Socks the Rock yarn.  I choose "downpour", liking both the name and the color.  I have dreams of knee-high socks and have begun to swatch some ideas.

I just couldn't believe it when I heard about that craziness. I still don't get why a bank would do that with no complaints....on and on. Weird.

Your swatch is pretty! I would like knee socks, but at the rate I'm knitting lately, I wouldn't be able to wear them until the kids grow up and move out.

I love the colours - sort of rainy day dark and mysterious.

Ooh, I didn't know any of the LYS around here had Blue Moon yarns...And since sock yarn doesn't count as stash, I will have to make a trip over there!

Fabulous yarn, lovely colors, and great choice of stitch pattern. Can't wait to see the knee highs.

I wanted to offer a button that I made to show support for sock knitters and Blue Moon.
