One Hydrangea Petal

No second sock syndrome for nona, at least not for my Hydrangea Socks from The Petal Collection.  The first sock is finished and I immediately casted on for the 2nd -- after taking a brief prerequisite MCS break of course.

My finished Hydrangea sock fits perfectly!

Sundara's pattern is very well written and easy to follow.  Plus she includes instructions for knitting your socks using either double pointed needles, 2 circular needles, or the magic loop -- how cool is that!  I used DPNs for my first sock and am using 2 circulars for the second sock.  Why you ask?  Because I'm an experimenting type of gal, that's why.  The next Petal Collection installment is going out Oct. 16th and I plan to be wearing my Hydrangea Socks when I pickup the mail.

I'm almost done with my first Hydrangea sock, and anxious to get the pair done. Your's looks great - mine is a lot darker - lots more purple in the dye lot I guess, unless it's just my monitor.

Lovley socks. How's the BOHO cardigan going. I was so impressed with yours that I took a second look and bought the magazine. Now I'm wondering just how much yarn this will take of Koigu, since the pattern called for at least 4 skeins of Helen's Lace. How many motif's have you gotten from one skein of the Koigu.
