Two Down, Two to Go

I'm slowly -- but surely -- working through my Nancy Bush mini-masters sock study and am pleased to report another finished pair of ribbed socks from her new book, Knitting Vintage Sock  Yup, you got it -- two pairs down and two to go.  For this pair, I knit the "Lichen Ribbed Sock" featuring a Welsh Heel and a Star Toe of Three Points.  I like the overall fit of these socks, but am not digging the strong pooling affect of the yarn.  But you know what?  Come winter, under a pair of jeans I'm going to enjoy these socks.

Cherry Tree Hill Supersock in Moody Blues pools too much for my taste,
but sure feels great to knit with and to wear.

Yikes, that is some unfortunate pooling. But, yay for 2 down, 2 to go. I'm 3 down, 18 zillion to go.

You know, I think pooling is kinda cool... But then again, I haven't knit socks yet, nor with yarn that isn't supposed to pool. I'm sure when it happens to me, I'll be mad! But it looks kinda funky, as in good funky. :-)

I LOVE the idea of a mini master's class. This is a bandwagon I may jump on.

You're right about the pooling. It's a little funky. Looks like shadows on your feet.
