Busy Day Knitting

There are so many interesting things to do and see in this world -- when mixed with the many responsibilities it can lead to a busy day.  But even on the busiest of busy days -- like today -- nonaKnits.

Come a little closer and take a peak ... I'm shaping my toe!

And yes, hip reader, I am wearing my head lamp for clear viewing -- I'm knitting with ebony needles after all!

Is that an Eames chair????? Very envious.

I have this little light that I clip onto the collar of my shirt to knit in the dark. I think a head lamp might be a better choice.

Nice chair! Your sock looks great with your sweater, too!

My sister-in-law prefers "mood lighting" (read: dark) when she throws parties. I got lots of crap for wearing my headlamp, but it was really very comfortable! Great for car knitting at night, too.

I need to search your site for info on socks; your tutorials are great!

I am working up my nerve to ask for a headlamp for the next birthday. :-)

Oooooh, I love ebony needles. They feel so substantial, but special somehow.

Lovely socks and needles! I just saw that a US commemorative stamp release for August is a panel of Gee's Bend Quilts and some are reminiscent of your log cabin squares, free-form and such. Both the quilts and your squares are stunning.
