UFO Delusions

I have always prided myself on being a knitter who finishes her projects.  I typically have 3 to 4 active projects, with a healthy balance of easy and hard, large and small -- a project for any knitting occasion you might say.  I try to hold off starting a new project until I've finished an existing project.  Sounds nice, don't it?  Well, nona learned today that this image of herself was pure delusion.

Now, I'm only going to show you this picture of my knitting "stuff" because you're my friend.  And we're supposed to be honest with our friends - right?  Okay here goes:

I was going through my knitting "stuff" today and counted 12 -- yes twelve -- unfinished knitting projects.  nona has got to shape up.  Over the next few days, I'm going to weed through my UFOs and decide which ones I'll finish and which ones I've had enough of.  I need to make my delusion a reality!

I just had a heart-warming thought---as a "new-knitter" I now have several UFO's--does that mean I'm no longer a "new-knitter"?! Have I graduated?? I will try earnestly to be a "finisher". I'll keep you posted (to my credit---I did finish a "cowl" a& a "howl" in 2 days--photo soon.)
