Feeling Springy!  I really enjoy crocheting based on crochet block diagrams instead of written instructions.  Not only is it visual, but it's like solving a puzzle.

Yarn: Tahki's Cotton Classic
Hook: F
Stitch: First 5 rounds of the "Willow Block"
Source: Used the 1st 5 rounds of the block diagram for the "Larger Than Life Bag" designed by Cecily Keim for Spring 2007 Interweave Crochet, page 78.  Cecily's design is based on the "Willow Block" from 200 crochet Blocks for Blankets, Throws, and Afghans by Jan Eaton.

Gar-geous! I am getting into crochet. Was it you that turned me onto the Ripple-Along? I am ripple-obsessed? I think of vintage-y stripes in my sleep, along with Easter candy, Coney dogs and Justin Timberlake.

Now that is just totally beautiful. I love it when crochet comes out of the muppet-pelt closet and into the light of day. You really chose some motivating colors - they make me want to go out and plant things!

Very Project Spectrum-ey! It took me a little longer to get the hang of crochet diagrams than knitted charts, but I agree, they're fun!

A beautiful round to complement January One's squares in the same cotton. I used to switch back and forth freely from knit to crochet. There were no camps. But a hand injury keeps me from crocheting now. It's funny I can make knit stitches that mimic crochet.

Very pretty! But I'd say that written instructions are like solving a puzzle while crochet symbols are like having the answer key. :)
