28 january, 2007

Inspiration: I loved the color combination from yesterday's swatch and was not ready to relegate the yarn to my stash bin.   Why not a little exploration of short row shapes and lines.
Yarn: Jamieson's DK
Needles: US 6
Stitch: Garter Stitch
Techniques: Short Rows

Ooo, this swatch is really working for me. The colors, the wavey lines, the proportions. Very nice.

I want that as a pocket on a sweater. Beautiful! This is such an inspiring series.

Mmmm, I like this. It has very good potential in the household... clothes and curtains and cushions and so on (not nec. all starting with "c").
