Inspiration: I love the 3 yarn stripe.  Take any 3 yarns and alternate 1 row of each.  Here I've selected 3 varying shades and textures of pink.  The resulting fabric reads more textured than stripey.  What if I selected yarns with more contrast, hmmm....
Yarn: Rowan's Cotton Glace, Rowan's Wool Cotton, Garns Studio's Silk Tweed
Needles: US 4
Stitch: Combination of garter stitch and stockinette stitch.
Techniques: Simple stripe; 3 yarns, 1 row each.

I think it looks lovely. The sublety of the stripes with the contrasting texture makes for an interesting knit.

Another thought...you could pair this with a simple gray cardigan!
